Lord Ivar Mountbatten seems to have taken a leaf out of Prince Harry<\/a>‘s book. For the television personality has chosen to attack his family in public.<\/p>\n

Lord Ivar, 62, who became the first member of the extended Royal Family<\/a> to enter into a same-sex union in 2018, has given an astonishing interview in which he admits he does not like his mother, the Marchioness of Milford Haven, whom he accuses of being ‘lazy’.<\/p>\n

The attack is made even more striking by the fact that she is 87 and increasingly frail.<\/p>\n

‘My mother never looked after us at all,’ declares Lord Ivar, who won The Traitors<\/a> US.<\/p>\n

‘We were brought up by this German nanny and we were always shipped off here and there, and that was fine.<\/p>\n

‘Her stock answer was she “can’t be bothered”\u00a0and it stemmed from the fact she couldn’t be bothered to pack her suitcase because she didn’t know how to.’<\/p>\n

He adds on the Rosebud Podcast: ‘There’s no affection between my mother and I. She’s been bedridden since 2018 and its purely laziness.<\/p>\n

‘So that sort of irritated my brother and myself. We’ve ended up having to do everything for her.’<\/p>\n

Lord Ivar is married to James Coyle, an air cabin services director.<\/a> ‘During the pandemic we thought we ought to bring her from London because she had a string of carers and clearly was going to get it [Covid],’ Lord Ivar says. ‘[We] brought her furniture down and she actually accused James of stealing her TV.’<\/p>\n

Now Wolfie to join holiday in Balmoral \"Princess <\/p>\n

Princess Beatrice, her husband\u00a0Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and their son ‘Wolfie’<\/p>\n

He joined the Royal Family on parade at Sandringham last Christmas.<\/p>\n

William was on my team. He said I had “a wand of a left foot”. Harry was my opposite man, defending [against] me, and at one point he accused me of being offside. I didn’t really know what to say, so I just kind\u00a0of shrugged.’<\/p>\n
