Liverpool target Alexander Isak<\/a> has effectively primed his own exit from Newcastle United by releasing a pointed statement overnight. The 25-year-old has made it clear ‘the relationship can’t continue’ while waiting for Liverpool to make their next move before an impending September 1 deadline.<\/p>\n The Reds opened up with a \u00a3110m bid on August 1<\/a>, but were subsequently rejected by their rivals. With everything going on, it didn’t feel right to be there.<\/p>\n “I’ve kept quiet for a long time while others have spoken.<\/p>\n “That silence has allowed people to push their own version of events, even though they know it doesn’t reflect what was really said and agreed behind closed doors. The reality is that promises were made – and the club has known my position for a long time.<\/p>\n “To now act as if these issues are only emerging is misleading.<\/p>\n “When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship can’t continue.
