\t\t\t\tSheffield United<\/a> have cooled their interest in Ipswich Town<\/a> defender Luke Woolfenden since January, as detailed in a report by TWTD<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sheffield United<\/a> considered a swoop for the centre-back last winter. However, a switch to SUFC didn\u2019t materialise for the player in the end and he stayed put at Portman Road.<\/p>\n

Woolfenden, 26, is under contract at Ipswich Town<\/a> until the summer of 2027 meaning he still has two years left to run down in Suffolk. He has been on the books of his current club for his whole career to date.<\/p>\n

In this latest update regarding his situation by TWTD<\/a>, the Blades are no longer eyeing a move for him. The report adds that Coventry City<\/a> have had a bid rejected for him, whilst Stoke City<\/a> are also admirers.<\/p>\n

The Tractor Boys handed him a new deal earlier this year. At the time, he told their official club website<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019m proud of what I have achieved at the Club and I\u2019m so pleased to have signed a new deal. The last two years have been amazing. I\u2019m just loving every minute.\u201d<\/p>\n
