Leeds United have been in the hunt for another new striker, but they can tick Lecce star Nikola Krstovic off the list at Elland Road.<\/strong><\/p>\n Krstovic has been regularly linked with Leeds<\/a> over the summer as they look to put together an attack worthy of the Premier League.<\/a><\/p>\n In their top-flight opener against Everton, the Peacocks\u2019 attack showed, for the most part, that they are capable of competing against top sides in the league, sealing a 1-0 win.<\/p>\n However, Joel Piroe was one of those who struggled,<\/a> with a clear sign that Daniel Farke still wants reinforcements up front.<\/p>\n Leeds have managed to secure the signings of Dominic Calvert-Lewin<\/a> and Lukas Nmecha up front so far this summer.<\/p>\n Noah Okafor\u2019s potential move to join them at Leeds<\/a> seems to be the perfect play by Farke, with the attacking duo likely to profit from the Switzerland international.<\/p>\n However, the Peacocks still face issues with Piroe<\/a>, and signing another forward would enable them to get the best out of the Dutchman.<\/p>\n That striker, however, won\u2019t be Krstovic.<\/a><\/p>\n According to Fabrizio Romano on X, the Montenegrin forward is set to join Atalanta for \u00a321.5million in another blow to Farke\u2019s attack, with a long-term deal signed.<\/p>\n Strikers the Whites have missed out on so far:<\/strong><\/p>\n So far, Leeds haven\u2019t been able to make any big money signings in attack.<\/p>\n Both Calvert-Lewin and Nmecha were signed as free agents, and it feels like, to stay up this season, they will have to spend on another striker.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udea8\u26ab\ufe0f\ud83d\udd35 Nikola Krstovi\u0107 to Atalanta, here we go!
