\n\t\u201cFleabag<\/a>\u201d and \u201c100 Foot Wave\u201d producer Joe Lewis<\/a> is backing the London transfer of off-Broadway hit \u201cInvasive Species<\/a>,\u201d with his company Amplify Pictures<\/a> coming aboard as co-producer for the play\u2019s September run at King\u2019s Head Theatre.<\/p>\n

\n\tEric Kuhn Productions has revealed that Lewis, CEO of the independent studio behind HBO Max\u2019s Emmy-winning \u201c100 Foot Wave\u201d and Prime Video and BBC\u2019s \u201cFleabag,\u201d will join lead producers Eric Kuhn and Adam Rodner on Maia Novi\u2019s semi-autobiographical play. The production\u2019s roster of co-producers including \u201cSix\u201d co-creator Lucy Moss, Salem Productions, John Voege, Amauta M. Firmino and Mar\u00eda In\u00e9s Olmedo Projects.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe collaboration marks another chapter in Lewis and Kuhn\u2019s successful partnership, which previously brought Tony Award-winning musical \u201cA Strange Loop\u201d to Broadway in 2022. More recently, Amplify Pictures co-produced the Tony-nominated \u201cGutenberg! The Musical!\u201d starring Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells, as well as Julia Randalls\u2019 off-Broadway dark comedy \u201cDilaria\u201d featuring Ella Stiller, Chiara Aurelia and Christopher Briney.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cInvasive Species\u201d debuted in New York last year where it\u00a0created considerable buzz<\/a>.\u00a0Novi crafted the work around her own experiences as an Argentine performer chasing Hollywood dreams. The story tracks an immigrant actor willing to risk her sanity for a shot at American cinema stardom.\u00a0Novi will reprise the lead role in London alongside Harrison Osterfield<\/a>, known for his breakout role in Netflix\u2019s \u201cThe Irregulars.\u201d The cast also includes Ella Blackburn, Max Percy and Kalifa Taylor.<\/p>\n
