The FBU highlights that \u201conly scheduled individuals\u2019 names are provided to the guards for entry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At time of writing, some appointments are still available and can be booked by scanning the QR code in the Facebook post shared by Marseille&#8217;s US Consulate General (see below).<\/p>\n<p>Who is the event for?<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.usembassy.gov\/services\/social-security-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paris FBU<\/a> is the French branch of international units providing services for Americans based outside of the US, primarily in partnership with the Social Security Administration (SSA).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>September\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.connexionfrance.com\/magazine\/i-sent-my-parents-to-marseille-this-is-what-they-thought\/733033\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marseille<\/a> outreach event aims to provide <a href=\"https:\/\/www.connexionfrance.com\/news\/americans-moving-to-france-are-increasingly-choosing-nice\/718060\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Americans living outside of Paris<\/a> with help processing \u201ca wide range of social security requests\u201d during the event including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Social security number card applications,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Social security retirement and auxiliary benefits applications,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Representative applications,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Post Entitlement Requests such as change of address and bank.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Attendees should bring originals and photocopies of all required evidence including current ID, birth certificate, and bank details.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are unable to accept incomplete application packages.
