Next month is set to be an exciting one for fashion lovers,as some of the city\u2019s most successful designers<\/a> will appear in Liverpool ONE. The appearances form part of a three-day-long celebration of fashion and style<\/a> in the shopping district.<\/p>\n Organised by the British Fashion Council, ‘The Fashion Takeover’ at Liverpool ONE will run from September 5 to September 7 with events taking place across various venues. The so-called citywide celebrations will also be seen across London, Manchester <\/a>and Newcastle as part of a series of events in the run-up to London Fashion Week.<\/p>\n Over three days Liverpool ONE<\/a> will see fashion-focused events, competitions, interactive experiences and in-store activities from top fashion brands.<\/a><\/p>\n On Saturday, an inspiring panel of Liverpool-based designers <\/a>will form a panel exploring how the city’s creative energy is influencing global fashion.<\/p>\n The \u2018At Home With\u2019 Designer Panel will run from 3pm until 5pm at Bread Street Kitchen & Bar on Paradise Street.<\/p>\n According to organisers, the event will explore how Liverpool has shaped design talent<\/a> by fostering creativity and collaboration through its unique character and culture.<\/p>\n The panel will be made up of inspiring designers Patrick McDowell, S.S. Daley and Talia Byre, all of whom have roots in Liverpool and have gone on to careers spanning major fashion houses<\/a>, even forging their own labels.<\/p>\n Patrick McDowell was the 2025 recipient of the Queen Elizabeth Award for British Design.<\/p>\n Patrick studied at Central Saint Martins and then went on to work at Burberry before launching their eponymous label at London Fashion Week in 2018.<\/p>\n S.S. Daley, inspired by a working-class upbringing in Liverpool<\/a>, has since launched his own label stocked by the likes of Net-a-Porter and Moda Operandi, boasting Harry Styles as a minority stakeholder.<\/p>\n Talia Byre is a designer inspired by family heirlooms, community, rituals and heritage.<\/p>\n The name is a tribute to her great uncle’s boutique, Lucinda Byre, which was a community for many during its tenure on Bold Street<\/a> from 1964 to 1982.<\/p>\n![\"The](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/0_JS260781942.jpg\")
