{"id":359282,"date":"2025-08-20T11:19:10","date_gmt":"2025-08-20T11:19:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/359282\/"},"modified":"2025-08-20T11:19:10","modified_gmt":"2025-08-20T11:19:10","slug":"newcastles-conditions-for-alexander-isak-transfer-remain-unchanged-liverpool-fc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/359282\/","title":{"rendered":"Newcastle&#8217;s conditions for Alexander Isak transfer remain unchanged &#8211; Liverpool FC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In the wake of two explosive statements from Alexander Isak and <a data-ail=\"325936\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/newcastle\/\" title=\"Newcastle\" rel=\"noopener\">Newcastle<\/a>, a reporter close to the saga has reiterated the conditions for a sale all but remain the same.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Isak has ostracised himself from <a data-ail=\"325936\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/newcastle\/\" title=\"Newcastle\" rel=\"noopener\">Newcastle<\/a>\u2018s squad since mid-July as he seeks to force a transfer to Liverpool, who had a reported bid of \u00a3110 million rejected at the start of this month.<\/p>\n<p>With no progress on a transfer, Isak <a data-mil=\"325936\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/2025\/08\/alexander-isak-breaks-silence-newcastle-have-broken-promises-and-what-was-agreed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">released a statemen<\/a>t and explained \u201cwhy change is in the best interest of everyone, not just myself\u201d after promises were broken and trust lost.<\/p>\n<p><a data-ail=\"325936\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/newcastle\/\" title=\"Newcastle\" rel=\"noopener\">Newcastle<\/a> then <a data-mil=\"325936\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/2025\/08\/newcastle-respond-to-alexander-isak-statement-no-promises-were-made\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">responded<\/a> in turn, insisting \u201cno commitment has ever been made\u201d that he can leave this summer, while also making mention of the \u201cconditions of a sale.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Sky Sports\u2019 Keith Downie, who has been closely reporting on the transfer saga this summer, has reiterated the conditions after Liverpool fans <a data-mil=\"325936\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/2025\/08\/alexander-isak-saga-will-rumble-on-as-fans-say-statement-not-strong-enough\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">noted<\/a> that the door had been left ajar.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-lazy-type=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Isak-statement-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" class=\"lazy lazy-hidden alignnone size-medium wp-image-325943\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cYoane Wissa was seen as the Callum Wilson replacement, not the Alexander Isak replacement,\u201d Downie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skysports.com\/football\/live-blog\/11095\/12476234\/transfer-centre-live-football-transfer-news-updates-and-rumours?postid=10046011#liveblog-body\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they were able to land Wissa in the next few days, and I am expecting a bid in the next couple of days, and Liverpool came to the table offering \u00a3130 million then <a data-ail=\"325936\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/newcastle\/\" title=\"Newcastle\" rel=\"noopener\">Newcastle<\/a> might have a decision to make.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>He then adds, \u201cIf they are unable to bring in Wissa, then Isak will not be going anywhere, and that was what the statement was saying last night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they were to find a gem with two weeks of the window to go, and bring in Wissa and Liverpool came to the table with a significantly higher bid, then I think Isak will be allowed to go.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Perceptions have changed, but not the conditions<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-lazy-type=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/embedded275002162-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"Alexander Isak scores vs. Sunderland in FA Cup.
