An infrared sauna and plunge studio named Death By Sauna <\/a>is still in the pipeline for Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. The facility promises to bring ‘calm to culture’ and will be the latest to open after WYLD on Princes dock in November 2024.<\/p>\n

The brand has opted for striking bright red and black colours and a minimalist style. Death By Sauna<\/a> has created a Spotify playlist which has been shared on Instagram in the build up to its arrival. The page directs people to its website where they can sign up to the company’s mailing list. Death By Sauna was expected to open sometime before autumn, stating a ‘spring\/summer’ window.<\/p>\n

The opening has been pushed back to an undisclosed window, with a spokesperson for the sauna telling the ECHO<\/a> the team is “still working on it”. Death by Sauna<\/a>‘s exact location is yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

The venue will be Liverpool’s second purpose-built sauna following WYLD on Princes Dock<\/a>, which opened in November 2024.<\/p>\n

WYLD Sauna<\/a> is the UK’s first floating sauna experience and provides a traditional Nordic experience for guests to relax and escape in the city centre.<\/p>\n

The sauna allows guests to lap up all the cosy heat they can handle. Afterwards, you can dive straight into the waters surrounding the structure for an immediate cooldown.<\/p>\n

WYLD released plans <\/a>for a secondary custom-designed, 16-person floating sauna located next to the current site. The sauna will be available for private hire, group bookings, corporate sessions, and retreat-style experiences.<\/p>\n

Additional upgrades include private changing cubicles on the quayside, new showers for guests to rinse off with their own products, permanent toilets and improved dockside infrastructure, and a new quayside caf\u00e9 and outdoor seating area.<\/p>\n

Other improvements being made include upgraded sauna heaters for more consistent and powerful heat delivery, reduced general capacity to prioritise comfort and space, dedicated quiet sessions and women-only sessions.<\/p>\n

There will also be dedicated men-on and women-only sessions tailored times for Liverpool\u2019s wider communities including faith-based groups, LGBTQ+ guests, and those aged 50 and over.<\/p>\n
