Coronation Street<\/a>‘s Gary Windass<\/a> is set to be left shaken after he faces a grilling from Maria.<\/p>\n

Last week<\/a>, viewers saw Gary implicated in a violent assault against Noah Hedley.<\/p>\n

Gary had wanted to make Noah pay for his homophobia and cruelty towards Theo Silverton but he was caught by Maria lying in wait for him outside the community center. <\/p>\n

Though it seemed Maria had managed to thwart Gary’s plan, he was later seen with a blood stain on his T-shirt after it had been confirmed Noah was attacked that night.<\/p>\n

In scenes to air on Tuesday 26 August<\/strong>, Maria quizzes Gary about the recent attack on Noah over a drink. <\/p>\n

After previously catching Gary preparing to give Noah a fright with a hammer, Maria is convinced he was responsible.<\/p>\n

But Gary refuses to be drawn in and proposes that they drop the subject.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the upcoming scenes a Corrie insider told Digital Spy<\/strong>: “Gary’s silence speaks volumes – he doesn’t want to lie to Maria but isn’t keen on confessing to her either.<\/p>\n

“Maria has noticed the change in Gary’s behaviour since his ordeal with Mick and Lou, including his vague comments about how he won’t let people walk all over him anymore.<\/p>\n

“The pieces of the puzzle all seem to fit, but will Maria get to the truth?”<\/p>\n

Coronation Street<\/strong> airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on <\/strong>ITVX<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
