Emergency services have raced to a crash involving a car and a motorbike in Edinburgh<\/a>.<\/p>\n Police<\/a> and ambulance crews were called to Drum Brae Road North after the alarm was raised at around 6pm on Wednesday. The road has been closed in both directions as a result of the collision.<\/p>\n In images shared with Edinburgh Live<\/a>, three police vehicles and four ambulances can be seen in attendance. Paramedics were attending to a male on the ground and were seen escorting the man to an ambulance via stretcher.<\/p>\n Officers<\/a> at the scene were also seen speaking to motorists on the northbound lane while their colleagues directed traffic at either end of the road. A motorbike could be seen badly damaged lying on the pavement of the southbound side of the road.<\/p>\n One eye witness said: “There were a lot of people standing looking on, it looked really nasty and I just hope everyone is ok. Traffic was a bit chaotic in the area as its a well used route for people getting onto Queensferry Road.<\/p>\n “Police were interviewing people in their cars as well as residents of the street.
