\n The 41-year-old was pronounced dead shortly after.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n His family are being supported by specialist officers.\n<\/p>\n
\n In the early hours of today (August 20), a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.\n<\/p>\n
\n He remains in custody alongside a 31-year-old woman who was detained at the scene on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.\n<\/p>\n
\n Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams, local policing commander for north-west London, said:\u00a0\u201cOur thoughts remain with Shazad\u2019s family and friends at this unimaginably difficult time.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cThis incident will rightly cause concern across the community, but intelligence at this stage leads us to believe there is no wider threat to the public.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cDetectives are conducting a thorough and fast-paced investigation, and locals can expect to see an uptick in police presence in the area.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cAnyone with any information \u2013 particularly dashcam or doorbell footage from the time of the incident \u2013 is urged to speak to us as a matter of urgency.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Those with information are asked to call the Met via 101, or online, quoting 6174\/19AUG.\n<\/p>\n
