Hull KR have one of the toughest run-ins to finish the regular Super League campaign.\"WillieWillie Peters\u2019 Hull KR don\u2019t play any side below seventh until the final round of the regular season.<\/p>\n

Willie Peters insists Hull KR\u2019s priority against Leeds Rhinos is to replicate the performance that secured their statement win over Wigan Warriors, believing the Robins\u2019 tough run-in is ideal preparation for the all-important play-offs.<\/p>\n

Super League\u2019s two in-form teams will meet on Thursday night at Headingley Stadium, marking the third fixture between Leeds and Hull KR<\/a> this season, with the head-to-head currently tied at one apiece.<\/p>\n

The Robins are aiming to back up their top-of-the-table win over reigning champions Wigan, a victory that has put them within touching distance of a historic first ever League Leaders\u2019 Shield<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leeds, meanwhile, are eyeing second spot – currently occupied by Matt Peet\u2019s Warriors – with St Helens also in the mix to cement a crucial home semi-final on the road to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Rovers\u2019 thrilling 10-6 win over Wigan kicked off a brutal final stretch of the regular season, with Leeds, St Helens and play-off hopefuls Hull FC<\/a> and Wakefield ahead.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo win the competition, you\u2019ve got to beat the best in the competition,\u201d Hull KR head coach Peters said. \u201cOur last six games are against the best, in terms of where everyone sits on the ladder, so it\u2019s great preparation for us to go into the finals. It gives us a really good look at where we\u2019re at.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you look through the course of the year, we\u2019ve stepped up after every big game because the players pride themselves on that, and we pride ourselves on that as a group and staff.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you look at derby games, they\u2019re like semi-finals – and we\u2019ve had to back them up, playing Wigan and Leeds twice.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a huge campaign, but that\u2019s what this competition is about. It\u2019s an expectation to be consistent, and we pride ourselves on that and expect that from ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Peters has challenged his side to match the performance that saw them overcome a major psychological hurdle against Wigan, taking a significant step towards the second part of a potential historic treble.<\/p>\n

A relentless, resilient and determined defensive effort helped claim the win over the Cherry and Whites, suffocating the 2024 Grand Slam champions on their home turf.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a big game,\u201d Arthur said of Leeds. \u201cThe priority is to make sure we go and perform the way we did last week, and back that up. It\u2019s really important that we do that.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re in a strong position at the moment, but our next focus is Leeds and if you perform well there, you keep that consistency.<\/p>\n
