Robbie Williams rolled back the years with a grandstand entrance at Come Together on Newcastle’s Town Moor<\/p>\n

Headlining the Come Together festival <\/a>on Newcastle’s Town Moor, Robbie Williams <\/a>made a stunning theatrical entrance – complete with an artificial intelligence-created Elvis Pressley singing is praises. The pop legend wowed fans by appearing in red following the incredible hype-building video.<\/p>\n

Robbie had donned a stunning red outfit as he walked out with a swagger in his step – and fans were going wild for the Rock DJ singer. As he arrived on stage, the opening bars to one of his most recognisable tracks began to play – and fans knew they were about to be entertained.<\/p>\n

The video introduction Robbie employed referenced TikTok<\/a> and the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) as the popstar used the technology light-heartedly – even getting Elvis to say: “If I was alive today I would pay a lot of money to see Robbie Williams live.”<\/p>\n

A booming voiceover discussed the role of social media and AI – which would “profoundly change” the music industry. Other snippets of video saw famous faces explain – through the power of generative AI – that Robbie is “born to rule a stadium” and that: “He’s not a man, he’s a signal. You don’t watch Robbie, you tune into him.” And after that bombastic intro – recalling the pop legend at his pomp – Robbie appeared and the crowd went wild.<\/p>\n

Robbie’s performance was the final attraction on a Wednesday schedule that had already seen North East pop princess Perrie play a stunning set that ChronicleLive<\/a> felt showed she was “every inch the popstar”. Kaiser Chiefs and Gateshead<\/a> native Andrew Cushin also starred.<\/p>\n

On Friday, acts including headliners Kings of Leon will be looking to pack out the Town Moor and get the August Bank Holiday off to a bang. These stellar Wednesday line-up came after huge anticipation.<\/p>\n

By Tuesday evening, the Town Moor had been transformed into a huge festival site ready to welcome some of music’s brightest stars and, well ahead of gates opening at 1.30pm on Wednesday, a queue had begun started to form, with more than a few Robbie Williams t-shirts spotted among the fans who got there early.<\/p>\n
