Ghanaian dancehall star Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, also known as <\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>Shatta Wale<\/a>, has been detained by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) following an inquiry into tax obligations relating to his purchase of a yellow Lamborghini.<\/p>\n

According to management, <\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>Shatta Wale<\/a> presented himself voluntarily at the EOCO offices on Wednesday afternoon, accompanied by his lawyer, Cephas Biyuo to assist with investigations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to assure all fans and the general public that his legal team is fully engaged and actively working with the authorities to resolve this matter. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey are taking all necessary steps to secure his release at the earliest opportunity,\u201d Ghanaian media personality Samuel Atuobi Baah, popularly known as Sammy Flex, who is also a member of <\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>Shatta Wale<\/a>\u2019s management team, confirmed the development in a post on his official X page on August 20, 2025. <\/p>\n

He further urged the SM Family and all well-wishers to remain calm and avoid any speculation. \u201cWe have the utmost confidence in the judicial process.<\/p>\n

\u201cManagement and his legal representatives will return to the EOCO offices tomorrow morning to continue these discussions.<\/p>\n
