Cyber insurer Coalition has launched operations in France through its subsidiary Coalition Insurance Solutions. French businesses with revenues of up to \u20ac1bn can now access cyber risk management and primary cyber insurance capacity provided by Allianz Commercial via AGCS under a multi-year agreement.<\/p>\n
Tine Simonsen, Coalition\u2019s head of insurance, continental Europe, said: \u201cAs global cyber threats grow, French businesses \u2013 small businesses especially \u2013 need an experienced and innovative insurance provider that not only helps mitigate financial losses, but also equips them with the cybersecurity tools necessary to better understand their risks, strengthen their defences, and prevent future attacks.”<\/p>\n
To support the launch, the insurer has appointed Benjamin Bar\u00e8s as head of business development for France, joining from Hiscox Assurances France. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Gatte becomes director of underwriting, while production underwriter Tom Paparella transfers from the US team.<\/p>\n
