New <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/weather\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"weatherLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">weather<\/a> maps show an area of warm air sweeping into the UK just in time for the<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/lifestyle\/every-confirmed-uk-bank-holiday-34818245\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" bank holidayLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> bank holiday<\/a> on May 5.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The mercury is set to peak in<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/east-of-england\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" East AngliaLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> East Anglia<\/a>, where it is forecast to reach 22C, while people living in the southeast are also set to enjoy the heat, according to WXcharts. However, many other areas will miss out on the 72-hour hot spell around<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/may-day-1?pageNumber=2\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" May DayLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> May Day<\/a>, with temperatures stubbornly remaining in the mid-to-high teens.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/2_map.jpg\" alt=\"Weather map for May 5\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Weather map for May 5Where will miss out on the warm weather?<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Regions including Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire, and North, West, East and South Yorkshire, are all predicted to miss out on the &#8216;mini <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/heatwave\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">heatwave<\/a>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The list goes on with Durham, Westmorland, Cumberland, Lancashire, Northumberland, Greater <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/manchester\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester<\/a>, Merseyside, and even the Isle of Wight being left untouched.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Forecast models from Netweather suggest highs of 22C could hit the southeast, while most of England could enjoy temperatures in the high teens.<\/p>\n<p>Will we see any more snow?<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">According to one forecaster, there is still a chance of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/snow\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">snow<\/a> in parts of the UK this month, despite spring now being well underway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">James Madden from Exacta Weather: &#8220;The recent cooler and unsettled conditions of late could also have been a less potent version of what we were expecting for several days later and are now likely to be replaced with more of a high-pressure-influenced weather pattern&#8230;
