{"id":361973,"date":"2025-08-21T12:03:17","date_gmt":"2025-08-21T12:03:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/361973\/"},"modified":"2025-08-21T12:03:17","modified_gmt":"2025-08-21T12:03:17","slug":"man-75-charged-with-preventing-lawful-burial-of-mark-torrington","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/361973\/","title":{"rendered":"Man, 75, charged with preventing lawful burial of Mark Torrington"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">A 75-year-old man has been charged with preventing the lawful burial of a man whose body was found two days after being reported missing.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The body of Mark Torrington, 54, was found by police officers at an address on Bath Road, Longwell Green, South Gloucestershire, in January 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Robert Jones, of the same address, is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates&#8217; Court on Friday charged with preventing Mr Torrington&#8217;s lawful burial and perverting the course of justice.
