{"id":362147,"date":"2025-08-21T13:34:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-21T13:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/362147\/"},"modified":"2025-08-21T13:34:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-21T13:34:09","slug":"bristol-nightclub-lakota-to-ban-phones-on-the-dance-floor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/362147\/","title":{"rendered":"Bristol nightclub Lakota to ban phones on the dance floor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">One of Bristol&#8217;s biggest nightclubs will become the first in the city to ban phones on the dance floor to &#8220;create a space where people can really be present&#8221;.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Lakota, in the St Paul&#8217;s area of the city, said anyone who repeatedly flouts the policy in its new Moon Club room will be asked to leave.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The new rules will come into force on 6 September when the room opens to clubgoers and does not apply to the rest of the nightclub.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Hywel Gregory, head of events and marketing at Lakota, said: &#8220;We&#8217;re confident Bristol will respond positively.
