The gang war exploded after rivals of Mark Richardson began firebombing homes & businessesCredit: THE SCOTTISH SUN 7<\/p>\n A property on Firrhill Drive was raidedCredit: GOOGLE 7<\/p>\n Richardson’s pal David McMillan is among those whose homes have been targetedCredit: The Sun<\/p>\n The raid at the property, in Firhill Drive in the capital, is understood to be linked to the ongoing gangland feud <\/a>between notorious kingpin Mark Richardson and a so-called ‘Mr Big’.<\/p>\n Terrified locals watched on as officers sealed off streets as they carried out their raid.<\/p>\n The Daily Record reports that<\/a> several armed units swooped on the property at around 2pm yesterday.<\/p>\n One resident said those living nearby were \u201cunable\u201d to access the road due to a cordon being erected.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was scary.<\/p>\n They added: “The road was closed by police and four armed response units were there until 4.45pm when the road opened back up.<\/p>\n \u201cI was going to walk my dog but I went back inside after hearing about incident and seeing armed police on what is normally quiet street.”<\/p>\n After a few hours the street was reopened as cops left the scene.<\/p>\n Speaking of the latest raid a Police Scotland spokesperson said that \u201cenquiries are ongoing\u201d after a \u201cwarrant was executed.\u201d<\/p>\n 7<\/p>\n A carpet store linked to gangland figures was torched 7<\/p>\n The aftermath of the blazeCredit: THE SCOTTISH SUN<\/p>\n The raid comes after a chilling new gangland war video to wipe out caged kingpin Mark Richardson’s ally days after a botched fire attack on his home.<\/p>\n Thugs uploaded the clip online\u00a0which\u00a0features an AI-generated voice which threatens to “exterminate” Richardson’s gangland pal, David McMillan.<\/p>\n McMillan, 54, who also has ties to the besieged Daniel\u00a0crime\u00a0family, had his plush \u00a31.15 million pad in\u00a0Edinburgh\u00a0torched while\u00a0children\u00a0were asleep inside earlier this week.<\/p>\n Two hooded attackers doused McMillan’s front door with accelerant\u00a0before making a run for it in the early hours of Thursday morning.<\/p>\n This was the fifth firebombing on a\u00a0home\u00a0linked with the escalating turf\u00a0war\u00a0across Edinburgh and\u00a0Glasgow.<\/p>\n But other than some scorch marks in the entrance of Mr McMillan’s\u00a0house, the rest of the\u00a0property\u00a0remained undamaged in the bungled\u00a0attack.<\/p>\n Hoods have now vowed to ensure they make no mistake the\u00a0next\u00a0time they\u00a0target\u00a0McMillan.<\/p>\n In the footage, a menacing robotic voice can be heard saying: “We would like to apologise to Mr McMillan and his associates.<\/p>\n “We too were deeply concerned the poor effort that night. The external team has been spoken to and will not be hired again.<\/p>\n “Rest assured, we will ensure that any fires are lit properly going forward and make sure they burn the house rather than just the door.”<\/p>\n The foreboding voice continues to outline their next course of action, labelling McMillan as afflicted by the ‘Daniel virus.’<\/p>\n It continues: “Firstly, we must exterminate the virus from his home.<\/p>\n “We will return with an internal team in due course and ensure that stage one of the treatment is carried out properly.<\/p>\n “We would like to clarify that fires are only the first stage of treatment.<\/p>\n “Our\u00a0research\u00a0shows that the fumes help rid the toxins, the Daniel virus, from\u00a0homes.<\/p>\n “We will begin stage two shortly, which will directly exterminate the virus from the\u00a0body.<\/p>\n “Stage two has been delayed due to many of the infected disappearing and going into hiding.<\/p>\n “We would like to reassure the public that we will only be going after the infected.”<\/p>\n The video ends with ‘Nowhere to Run’ from the cult classic gang film The Warriors playing over the mysterious group\u00a0TMJ\u00a02025 logo which is understood to represent the Dubai-based gang and motto.<\/p>\n And the video emerged hours after\u00a0a home believed to be linked to the Daniel crime clan was attacked\u00a0on Friday night.<\/p>\n The property on Cortmalaw Drive in Glasgow\u2019s Robroyston, is understood to be connected to Annette Daniel, the mum of feared gangland figure Steven \u2018Bonzo\u2019 Daniel.<\/p>\n Read more on the Scottish Sun<\/p>\n A window outside the front door of the home was smashed.<\/p>\n It comes days after\u00a0another attack targeted Annette, 63, and her brother Norman, 72.<\/p>\n![\"Firrhill](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/firrhill-drive-edinburgh-988672471.jpg\")
