Thousands of Reading and Leeds Festival fans are bracing for a weekend of raving to their favourite acts following a stressful exam season for many.<\/p>\n

Revellers are starting to pitch up ahead of tomorrow’s first day, with the festival known for attracting a host of post-GCSE and A-level students ready to blow off some steam.<\/p>\n

This morning, anxious pupils received their GCSE results this, while A-Level students opened their results on Thursday last week.<\/a><\/p>\n

They can now look forward to a bank holiday weekend forecast for a mix of cloudy and sunny spells.<\/p>\n

Fans can expect a relatively dry weekend, with Sunday expected to be as hot as 23 degrees.<\/p>\n

Some drizzle is forecast by Monday afternoon, when campers will be heading off.<\/p>\n

The festival will once again be held at Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds.<\/a><\/p>\n

Last year, festival-goers donned poncho-clad outfits as the Met Office<\/a> issued a weather warning for the south east of England.<\/p>\n

Revellers at the Leeds Festival demanded refunds as Storm Lilian shut down three stages and wild winds sent<\/a> tents flying.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Over the years, the festival has featured legendary acts including Patti Smith, Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, and Kendrick Lamar<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Good Luck Babe hitmaker Chappell Roan will headline the festival alongside US rapper Travis Scott.<\/p>\n

Irish singer-songwriter Hozier will also play the festival after the raging success of his hit single Too Sweet over the summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alongside the fan favourites, 30 more names were added to the line-up which promised to be even bigger than previous years.<\/p>\n

The line-up now includes Limp Bizkit, who will be taking to the main stage.<\/p>\n

The festival was headlined by Liam Gallagher, Blink 182, Fred Again and Lana Del Rey.<\/p>\n

However Reading Festival organisers were forced to apologise to Lana Del Rey fans on Instagram after they cut her headline set short on the Saturday night<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The festival shared a statement revealing that the singer’s performance was cut short by five minutes ‘due to production error’.<\/p>\n

However her set was not smooth sailing as she also suffered sound issues during her performance at the Festival which saw some fans leave after just four tracks.<\/p>\n
