Manchester United head into the final week of the transfer window with a few problems that still need solving.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manchester United<\/a> may struggle to make any further signings after spending around \u00a3200m on Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, but there are some outgoings that need to be sorted.<\/p>\n

Antony is a United outcast<\/a>, but, somehow, he remains at the club, while Jadon Sancho needs to find a new team<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n

Jadon Sancho<\/a> has had options this summer, but, as of yet, he\u2019s still a United player.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast<\/a>, Dean Jones has been discussing Sancho\u2019s situation at United, and he says that the winger actually wants to become a free agent at some point.<\/p>\n

Jones shared what he knows about Sancho and his situation.<\/p>\n

According to the journalist, Sancho wants to be in a situation where he is a free agent in order to control his own destiny and potentially make more money.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoma are still trying to sign Jadon Sancho, even though he has rejected them, they haven\u2019t totally given up on him, he doesn\u2019t seem interested from what I\u2019ve heard,\u201d Jones said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat on earth is Jadon Sancho doing?\u201d His co-host said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s waiting to become a free agent, he wants to become a free agent so he can earn more money and pick his next club,\u201d Jones added.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe just wants a straight loan deal, because then it\u2019s in his hands to sort out his own future, if he signs an obligation it doesn\u2019t benefit him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jadon Sancho needs to be careful<\/p>\n

Jadon Sancho really does need to be careful if he\u2019s taking this approach.<\/p>\n

Yes, the \u00a373m man set up for life in terms of the money he has already made from football, but his career will seriously suffer if he doesn\u2019t play his cards right here.<\/p>\n

A team like Roma would be perfect for Sancho, a manager like Gian Piero Gasperini could really help him rediscover his best form, and he\u2019d be playing top-level football regularly away from a difficult environment like Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

However, if Sancho spends another year in the wilderness and unsettled, if he becomes a free agent next year, there\u2019s no guarantee that he will have clubs like Roma after him.<\/p>\n

Sancho has been underperforming for years at this point, and clubs won\u2019t be queuing up to sign him next summer if he\u2019s demanding big wages and a big signing on fee.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve seen this play out before. David De Gea had to take a year out after leaving Manchester United on a free transfer, and he had much more credit in the bank than Sancho does right now.<\/p>\n
