The game between Wrexham and Sheffield Wednesday is scheduled to kick off at 3:00pm on Saturday, August 23, 2025. For those in the US, kick-off will be at 10am (ET) and 7am (PT).<\/p>\n

The fixture will be hosted at the Racecourse Ground<\/a>. It\u2019s thought the game will be played in front of a sell-out crowd, however, the temporary Kop Stand is now under construction meaning there will be fewer fans than last season.<\/p>\n

Parkinson has a number of injury concerns heading into the crucial clash. Josh Windass is expected to miss several weeks<\/a> with a hamstring injury sustained against West Brom.<\/p>\n

Jay Rodriguez and Andy Cannon are long-term absentees<\/a> and it is yet unclear whether the likes of George Thomason<\/a> and Liberato Cacace<\/a> are fit to return to action.<\/p>\n

Nathan Broadhead<\/a> is expected to be handed his full debut after coming on for Windass in the defeat to the Baggies and is likely to play just behind Kieffer Moore<\/a>.<\/p>\n
