It\u2019s been claimed that the German outfit had \u201calready scheduled flights\u201d for the Switzerland international\u2019s medical, but the West Yorkshire outfit thwarted those plans as they look for a replacement.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s hope a move will eventually materialise as Schmidt<\/a> looks to end his underwhelming tenure in LS11 after playing just 71 minutes in the Championship last season.<\/p>\n
