It’s not long to go until the GCSE results are out so we’re taking a look at which schools in Birmingham got the best grades last year.<\/p>\n
GCSE results day<\/a> is on Thursday August 21 and pupils will be heading back to their schools from 8am to find out if they have got the grades they’re hoping for.<\/p>\n Grade boundaries<\/a> vary from year to year depending on the results. Scroll across to see the percentage of pupils who achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths:<\/p>\n GCSE grades are ranked from 1 (the lowest) to 9 (the highest) to 1 (the lowest) but they don’t exactly match up with the original A-G grading system.<\/p>\n Grades 7-9 are classed as A to A*, grades 4-6 are classed as C to B and grades 1-3 are classed as G to D.
