\n Masala Zone at Piccadilly Circus has been taped off by police for most of the day (August 21) after an alleged assault\u00a0in the early morning, around\u00a06.21am.\n<\/p>\n
\n According to the Metropolitan Police, a man had been seriously injured.\n<\/p>\n
\n He has been taken to hospital where his injuries are being assessed.\n<\/p>\n
\n No arrests have been made.\n<\/p>\n

\n A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: \u201cPolice were called at 06:21hrs on Thursday, 21 August following reports of an assault in central London.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cOfficers joined the London Ambulance Service outside a restaurant at Piccadilly Circus, where a man had been seriously injured in an alleged assault by a group of men.\n<\/p>\n
