Further updates have emerged about Rasmus Hojlund’s<\/a> future amid rumours of a potential exit from Manchester United<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hojlund’s future has been the subject of intense speculation all summer as the United striker looks increasingly likely to leave the club. The Denmark international has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford<\/a> after the club signed Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig in a \u00a374million deal, with Matheus Cunha<\/a> and Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> also arriving this summer.<\/p>\n

As a result, United have been open to letting Hojlund leave the club this summer on a permanent deal. The Reds are believed to be seeking around \u00a330million for the striker’s signature, and a return to Italy is seemingly on the cards.<\/p>\n

Sky Italy are reporting that Napoli are exploring a deal to sign Hojlund and are willing to give the striker the demands that he wants. It has been claimed that Hojlund would like a loan deal with an obligation to buy, something which Napoli are apparently ready to offer.<\/p>\n

The report does not state what fee Napoli would be willing to pay to sign Hojlund on a permanent deal following a loan spell, which would last for the entirety of the season. Hojlund was not part of the United squad that faced Arsenal at Old Trafford in their Premier League<\/a> opener on Sunday.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen whether United would sanction a deal for Hojlund to join Napoli on loan, even if it does include an obligation to make the move permanent. Chelsea<\/a> had the same clause in the loan deal for Jadon Sancho 12 months ago, but instead chose to pay a penalty fee that saw the striker return to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
