Is\u00a0Pamela Anderson<\/a> taking a little swipe back at Meghan?<\/p>\n

Some were convinced The Duchess of Sussex<\/a> was copying the former Baywatch star’s recipes and domestic idyll look<\/a> in the first series of With Love, Meghan, which was released just a week after Pamela’s show titled Pamela’s Cooking with Love.<\/p>\n

And now Pamela has launched a line of pickles<\/a>\u00a0via the very ritzy Californian brand Flamingo Estate\u2026 which Meghan once wanted to partner with.<\/p>\n

Her first batch of Pamela’s Pickles has just gone on sale at a staggering $38 per small jar.<\/p>\n

The pictures which accompany their release look so similar to those of the Duchess of Sussex’s range, it’s hard to tell the difference, with Pamela peeking coyly from a brimmed hat and carrying a colorful bouquet of flowers.<\/p>\n

The real kicker though is that, in this case, all proceeds are going not to the foodie influencer, but to a charity – the California<\/a> Wildlife Center.<\/p>\n

The brand announced: ‘After months of development with Pam in the Flamingo Estate kitchen, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve got a couple hundred jars of the most delicious pickles we’ve ever tasted.<\/p>\n

‘The secret to Pamela’s Pickles is an award-winning recipe that was passed down to her by her great-aunt Vie. The delicious base is packed with Rose, Dill, Mustard, and Garlic \u2014 the perfect partner for the signature flavors of Flamingo Estate: Pink Peppercorns, Guajillo Chile, and smoky Sea Salt.<\/p>\n

‘Like the legendary icon whose name they share, Pamela’s Pickles are both hot and vegan.’<\/p>\n

Critics were quick to point out the similarities <\/a>between Pamela’s series and the wholesome aesthetic of Meghan’s Netflix show, and there was some debate about cross-pollination of ideas.<\/p>\n

The executive producer of Pammie’s series Jesse Fawcett said: ‘We take pride in planting the first seeds \u2014 creating original, distinctive programming that audiences love \u2014 and it’s a compliment to see our work with Ms Anderson resonate so strongly.’<\/p>\n

Anderson, however, recently said she doesn’t feel as though Meghan ripped off her show\u00a0<\/p>\n

But in an interview in August this year, Pamela was asked on a scale of one to ten how much she felt Meghan had ripped off her ideas and said, very diplomatically, ‘one.’<\/p>\n

Anderson, 58, said: ‘I didn’t \u2014 I didn’t really look, but I mean, I didn’t invent cooking shows.’<\/p>\n

The former Playboy Playmate of the Month turned Hollywood star who is riding something of a career high after the success of her latest film The Naked Gun, noted that Markle is ‘just doing her thing.’<\/p>\n

It has been reported that Meghan wanted to enter some kind of a partnership with the Flamingo Estate brand, and their coffee table books were plainly visible in the Sussex’s home in a number of videos filmed during the pandemic. However, she ended up setting up her own brand, As Ever, instead.<\/p>\n
