Chilling footage shows a machete-wielding thug attempting to stab two men after a massive ‘Wild West-style’ brawl broke out on a Birmingham<\/a> street.<\/p>\n

The alarming scenes were caught on camera after violence erupted involving up to 20 people in broad daylight in Sparkhill<\/a>, Birmingham, last week.<\/p>\n

In the video, a group of men can be seen arguing outside a row of houses along Showell Green Lane before punches start flying.<\/p>\n

Within moments, brawling individuals are scattered across the street as several fights break out simultaneously.<\/p>\n

One man, dressed in a grey top and black tracksuit bottoms, is seen brandishing a large knife and trying to slash two men during the chaos.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, residents and motorists look on in shocked horror as the men continue to punch and kick each other for the next two minutes.<\/p>\n

One bystander can be heard saying “Take the beef home” while another adds “F****** stupid” and a third exclaims: “What are you doing?”.<\/p>\n

Police have confirmed that four men, aged 23, 22 and two aged 20, have since been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.<\/p>\n

An anonymous onlooker said: “It was like a Wild West saloon brawl, there were bodies everywhere.<\/p>\n

\"AA group of men can be seen remonstrating outside a row of houses along Showell Green Lane before punches start being thrown<\/p>\n

“I don’t know what caused it, but this group were talking in a quite animated way for a while before something sparked it.<\/p>\n

“From then on it was just carnage. All hell broke loose. There were fights breaking out all over the place. It’s not what you want to see.<\/p>\n

“It’s pretty shameful really, there’s lots of families with kids around here and you’ve got grown men acting like this.”<\/p>\n

Another local, who wished to remain unnamed, added: “I just heard and saw all the noise, you keep your doors locked these days and don’t get involved.<\/p>\n

“It’s terrifying how unsafe our streets are these days, you simply don’t go out at night.<\/p>\n

“There’s always trouble and all these young men just seem lost. It’s sad to see.”<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police<\/a> stated: “We’ve arrested four men on suspicion of violent disorder following an incident on Showell Green Lane, Sparkhill, shortly after 7.30pm, last Wednesday (13 August).<\/p>\n

“Four men, aged 23, 22 and two aged 20, were taken into custody and have since been bailed with strict conditions as our enquiries continue.<\/p>\n

“Witnesses or anyone with any information should contact us on 101 quoting crime number 20\/342846\/25.<\/p>\n

“Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.<\/p>\n
