Not to alarm any of our readers but this weekend is the last Bank Holiday weekend before Christmas<\/a> – and the weather<\/a> forecast is shaping up to be a good one.<\/p>\n After a couple of days with high temperatures and sunshine, the heat will continue into the weekend. The Met Office<\/a> is predicting highs of 22C on Sunday and Monday, although a few days of cloudy conditions are also expected.<\/p>\n New research from the Met Office reveals that we spend on average 56.6 hours, or two days and 9 hours, talking about the weather over the course of a year – and in Northern Ireland<\/a> it is little wonder, considering we never know what we’re going to get!<\/p>\n Here’s the forecast for the next couple of days:<\/p>\n Friday, August 22<\/strong><\/p>\n Another dry day but staying rather cloudy with just the odd bright or sunny spell. Light westerly winds. Maximum temperature 20C.<\/p>\n Saturday, August 23<\/strong><\/p>\n Sunny intervals changing to cloudy by early evening. Highs of 20C and lows of 14C.<\/p>\n Sunday, August 24<\/strong><\/p>\n Sunny intervals changing to partly cloudy by night time. Highs of 22C.<\/p>\n Monday, August 25 – Bank Holiday<\/strong><\/p>\n Sunny changing to partly cloudy by night time. Temperatures reaching 22C in some areas.<\/p>\n Tuesday, August 26<\/strong><\/p>\n Sunny intervals changing to partly cloudy by early evening. Maximum temperature 21C.<\/p>\n A Met Office spokesperson added: “Remaining largely dry and settled over the weekend to Monday. Staying rather cloudy but with sunny spells breaking through.
