The special tenth-anniversary edition of\u00a0Meliora\u00a0arrives October 17 as a deluxe 15-song 2xLP featuring the\u00a0<strong>RIAA<\/strong>-certified platinum single\u00a0\u201cSquare Hammer\u201d\u00a0pressed on color vinyl and packaged in a double-wide spine jacket \u2014 and including a commemorative Papa III Mummy Dust buck.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<strong>Ghost<\/strong><\/strong> has just completed the U.S. leg of the\u00a0<strong>\u201cSkeletour\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0world tour in support of the group\u2019s sixth studio album,\u00a0Skelet\u00e1, which came out in April. Marking a bold evolution in\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<strong>Ghost<\/strong><\/strong>\u2018s live performances, the tour was the band\u2019s most theatrical and cinematic production yet. Designed by\u00a0<strong>Tobias Rylander<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><strong><strong>Ghost<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>\u00a0mastermind\u00a0<strong>Tobias Forge<\/strong>, the tour embraced a grander and more ambitious scale than ever before.<\/p>\n<p>Renowned for his work across live music world tours, fashion, theatre, and art installations,\u00a0<strong>Rylander<\/strong>\u00a0has collaborated with artists such as\u00a0<strong>Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>THE 1975<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Childish Gambino<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Chappell Roan<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>The XX,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>FKA Twigs<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>\u201cSkeletour\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0marks his first creative partnership with the\u00a0Grammy Award-winning band, bringing a new dimension to\u00a0<strong><strong><strong>Ghost<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>\u2018s already-iconic stage presence.<\/p>\n<p>This past May,\u00a0Skelet\u00e1\u00a0landed at position No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 86,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the LP\u2019s first week of release. According to\u00a0<strong>Billboard<\/strong>, 89% of that figure (77,000) consisted of traditional album sales, with vinyl purchases accounting for over 44,000 copies. Notably,\u00a0Skelet\u00e1 was the first hard rock album to reach the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 since\u00a0<strong>AC\/DC<\/strong>\u2018s\u00a0Power Up\u00a0in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The music video for the LP\u2019s first single,\u00a0<strong>\u201cSatanized\u201d<\/strong>, introduced the new character who is fronting\u00a0<strong>GHOST<\/strong>\u00a0for its 2025 touring cycle:\u00a0<strong>Papa V Perpetua<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Forge<\/strong>\u00a0performed as a \u201cnew\u201d\u00a0<strong>Papa Emeritus<\/strong>\u00a0on each of the band\u2019s first three LPs, with each version of\u00a0<strong>Papa<\/strong>\u00a0replacing the one that came before it.\u00a0<strong>Papa Emeritus III<\/strong>\u00a0retired in favor of\u00a0Cardinal Copia\u00a0before the release of 2018\u2019s\u00a0Prequelle.
