Labubu <\/a>Dubai chocolate’. For those not in the know (where have you been?) Labubu’s are PopMarts’ arguably most popular collection, coming in the form of toys and keyrings. It’s the name of a character in ‘The Monsters’ brand, and depicts an elf-like monster with sharp teeth, large ears and a scruffy appearance.<\/p>\nSince the end of 2024, people have gone crazy for them, and the trend seems to only be picking up speed.<\/p>\n
But would you pay \u00a319.90 to get some Labubu’s on your French Toast?<\/p>\n

Bruncho posted the French toast on their Instagram, captioning the video: “We\u2019ve been going LABUBU CRAZY with our French Toast ever since it\u2019s launched, so take this as your reminder to come down and give it a go!<\/p>\n
“There are LIMITED amounts available and once it\u2019s gone, it\u2019s gone… so be quick!”<\/p>\n
They also posted it on their TikTok account, where feelings about the product were mixed.<\/p>\n
“We all died in 2020 and this is hell,” someone seethed at the fact you can get some Labubu’s on your French toast and it makes it more expensive as a result.<\/p>\n
Others said it looked like there was “too much c***” on the French toast, saying as a result it didn’t look enjoyable.<\/p>\n
One woman seethed: “Pleassseee, brands you do not need to put Labubus and Dubai chocolate in your food to advertise it.”<\/p>\n
Bruncho replied to her saying: “But they’re so cute!”<\/p>\n
Some defended them as well, writing: “To be honest, though, brands only expand on recognition by following trends. A normal post on their food definitely would not get past maybe even the 20 likes for a small page like theirs.<\/p>\n
“Coming from somebody who hates the Labubu consumerism, I understand taking advantage of its popularity to make some extra sales.”<\/p>\n
Someone joked: “Ahh yes, the 24k gold matcha strawberry Dubai Chocolate Labubu flavoured moonbeam ice cream crumbl cookie,” referencing a viral meme.<\/p>\n
Others criticised Manchester, penning: “I’m actually so done with you all, how has Manchester become edible Labubu central? Enough is enough”.<\/p>\n
“I never thought I\u2019d ever have to say ‘oh – and hold the Labubu’ in my life until this moment. I\u2019d 100% eat the toast,” a woman shared. Bruncho does have other French toast options available without Labubu’s.<\/p>\n
The extravagant meal looks amazing, adorned with edible flowers, fruit, ice cream, and of course, adorable little Labubu’s that are packed with Dubai chocolate inside.<\/p>\n
