Speaking at the time of the temporary closure, Matt Robson, co-founder of Wynwood Lanes, said: \u201cWe went and sat in Dog Bowl recently and just realised we weren\u2019t proud of it anymore – (especially the name, we no longer want to compete with pet shops on Google).<\/p>\n
“Wynwood Lanes will bring something new to Whitworth Street and we\u2019re buzzing to crack on with it.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a hit list of passions from a trip to Wynwood in Miami and built a space that brings together the things we love – drinking rum and tequila, smashing avo on toast with Cuban coffee for brunch, tacos and fried chicken at night, playing and watching basketball, sharking people at pool and partying late into the night.”<\/p>\n

Inside Wynwood Lanes, guests can expect five upgraded lanes, pool tables, basketball hoops and even a coconut shy \u2013 all surrounded by bold, art-soaked interiors inspired by Miami\u2019s famous Wynwood district.<\/p>\n
There’s also smoke machines for victory laps and playlists that\u2019ll make you want to dance between throws.<\/p>\n
Fuel for the fun comes from Manchester legends Kong\u2019s NQ \u2013 back where it all began, only this time with a Miami twist.<\/p>\n

Expect Cuban sandwiches, lime chicken avo arepas, tacos galore and Miami-style brunch plates like the Breakfast Beef Quesadilla or Miami Breakfast Bowl.<\/p>\n
On the drinks side they’ve gone full South Beach – think Frozen Margs, Deep-Sea Coladas, Strawberry Daiquiris and more \u201cpoolside in a glass\u201d moments.<\/p>\n
Wynwood Lanes will run a unique day-mode and night-mode model. By day, guests can expect fresh brunch dishes, poolside cocktails and low-fi tunes, with children welcome until 7pm, Sunday to Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In night mode, Wynwood Lanes turns up the heat with party beats, celebratory smoke machines, late night snacks and bar games.<\/p>\n
To start things with a bang, this bank holiday Monday, Kong\u2019s NQ will be serving up half price Arepas all day long from their brand new Miami menu.<\/p>\n
From Saturday, 30 August Wynwood Lanes will also launch its boozy Bottomless Brunch every Saturday and Sunday for \u00a339.50, which breaks down to 90 minutes of Miami plates and free-flowing cocktails, with the option to upgrade to bowling for just a tenner.<\/p>\n
