King Charles<\/a> and Prince Harry are awfully close to a royal reunion. However, there are a set of rules that the monarch set for his son in order for them to meet without conflict. <\/p>\n

A royal insider told RadarOnline<\/a> that Charles\u2019 son has to keep mum about the royal family for them to reunite. \u201cThe King has never hidden his affection for both his sons, but he has also stressed that Harry cannot realistically expect a return while he persists with public criticism and constant interviews,\u201d the source said. \u201cWhat is needed is calm and restraint. If Harry can demonstrate that, there may be a path forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charles\u2019 team reportedly stressed Harry must \u201cdraw a line\u201d\u00a0for his wife Meghan Markle<\/a> to stop tarnishing the royal family. An aide said, \u201cIt has been made crystal clear to Harry by Charles, if he wants any chance of being welcomed back, he must stop attacking the family in public and ensure his wife avoids further controversy.\u201d<\/p>\n

A PR expert told Newsweek<\/a> that Harry would need to display \u201cconsistent discipline\u201d and avoid the \u201cugliness\u201d of bombshell interviews. One of those interviews includes Prince Harry\u2019s pleas to reunite with his father with the\u00a0BBC<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s no point in continuing to fight anymore,\u201d he said. \u201cLife is precious. I don\u2019t know how much longer my father has. He won\u2019t speak to me because of this security stuff. But it would be nice to reconcile.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, one royal family member is beyond hesitant to reconcile. \u201cThe King wants to bring everyone together, but William feels especially let down by what was revealed in\u00a0Spare,\u201d the RadarOnline source said. \u201cThat will not be an easy wound to close.\u201d<\/p>\n

A counter report by\u00a0Parade<\/a>\u00a0indicates concerns about\u00a0King Charles<\/a>\u2019 health might actually end up bringing the brothers closer together. \u201cKing Charles really isn\u2019t doing well,\u201d the insider said about the King, adding that his health has been \u201cdeteriorating more.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt wouldn\u2019t be surprising if William and Harry reconnected a bit more over this,\u201d the source added. \u201cThis could be the thing that pushes it to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

King Charles and\u00a0Prince Harry<\/a>\u2019s senior aides held a secret meeting in July 2025. According to\u00a0The Mail on Sunday<\/a>, these talks in London were the first big step towards resolving the feud between father and son. \u201cThere\u2019s a long road ahead, but a channel of communication is now open for the first time in years,\u201d said a source. \u201cThere was no formal agenda, just casual drinks.
