can you go and review the most remote pub in Bristol.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Given the fact I\u2019d been to Beeses Riverside Bar several times before, I couldn\u2019t see a problem.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">But I still took a wrong turning and got lost tracking down the city\u2019s most elusive pint.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Next to the river in the part of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/brislington\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Brislington<\/a> that\u2019s more Broomhill, Beeses was recently named among the top five \u2018most remote pubs\u2019 in the UK and one of the most difficult to get to.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">That\u2019s according to hospitality card payment business Dojo who ranked the most remote pubs in the UK according to how to access them and how far away the pub is from the closest city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Hidden down a narrow and bumpy lane behind a quiet residential street, you can drive to Beeses (there\u2019s a small car park at the front) and the number one bus stops close by, but the best way to arrive is by ferry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Visitors can book ferry trips to and from Beeses via the website and a large number of people had just arrived by boat when I was there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Established in 1846 as a tea garden, Beeses is still one of Bristol\u2019s most unique summer venues.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0_Beeses2.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Beeses riverside bar in Brislington<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">On the banks of the River Avon, it\u2019s next to the Eastwood Farm nature reserve and looks across to the Conham River Park.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Hidden and tranquil, there\u2019s a private jetty for anybody arriving by water at the bottom of the beautiful tiered garden and decking.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">As I soon found out on a grey and wet bank holiday lunchtime visit, Beeses is a weather-dependent venue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A few brave souls were still eating and drinking on the covered benches overlooking the river, but the majority of lunchtime visitors were huddled inside.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Beeses reopened for the summer season earlier this month and the weekend live music has already started.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0_Beeses4.jpg\" alt=\"Beeses riverside bar in Brislington\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Beeses riverside bar in Brislington<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Prices, as with most places, have risen again this year and my pint of Bristol Beer Factory Infinity Helles Lager set me back an eye-watering \u00a36.10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Other draught beers and ciders on tap include Bristol Beer Factory Independence, North Street Cider and Thatchers Haze.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">And the food\u2019s not exactly a bargain either &#8211; the cakes on the counter are priced from \u00a35 to \u00a38, with a homemade scone with clotted cream and jam costing \u00a35.50.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The Victoria sponge is \u00a36.50 per slice and the homemade carrot cake will set you back a whopping \u00a37.50 a slice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The main menu features a choice of salads and burgers, the cheapest option being the Poke Bee Salad (\u00a315.50) &#8211;
