MOROCCAN billionaire Anas Sefrioui is looking to buy a club in England \u2014 with Sheffield Wednesday in his sights.<\/p>\n

Sefrioui is one of the richest men in Africa and made his fortune through massive property development deals.<\/p>\n

Now Sefrioui has hired a top legal firm to look at potential football<\/a> outfits up for grabs and is closely checking on the Owls.<\/p>\n

Owner Dejphon Chansiri says he is willing to sell Wednesday to \u201cthe right individual, or group, to take our club forward\u201d.<\/p>\n

And Sefrioui, 67, may be interested if the price is right and he has control.<\/p>\n

Other buyers in Europe and the US have been keen but the mega-rich Moroccan may pip them all to it.<\/p>\n

Sefrioui started his career in developing affordable housing in his homeland.<\/p>\n

Reports have claimed that he is the 14th richest man in all of Africa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chansiri<\/a>\u00a0headed up a Thai consortium which bought Wednesday from ex-chairman Milan Mandaric in January 2015.<\/p>\n

His tenure began with back-to-back Championship<\/a> playoff appearances but has since been dogged by financial issues off the field.<\/p>\n
