Other than Scott Twine\u2019s goal and late free-kick, Derby County boss John Eustace has claimed that he didn\u2019t feel Bristol City<\/a> caused his side \u201cany problems\u201d during the Rams\u2019 draw with the Robins at Pride Park.<\/p>\n Gerhard Struber\u2019s Reds were left frustrated as they conceded late on to drop points in a 1-1 draw<\/a> in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Friday night, with Carlton Morris\u2019 third goal of the campaign cancelling out Scott Twine\u2019s first-half opener.<\/p>\n City\u2019s attacking midfielder broke the deadlock after 35 minutes when he finished off a counter-attack with a calm right-footed finish into the bottom right corner from the edge of the box. In trademark fashion, Twine whipped a shot towards the top right corner, only for Jacob Zetterstrom to somehow claw away from danger.<\/p>\n Although it was the Reds who came closest to snatching all three points, Eustace felt his team managed to keep City\u2019s attacking talent at bay for the majority of the contest.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s about the squad, it\u2019s about 46 games, not three games, and we\u2019re delighted to get a point,\u201d the Derby boss told the Rams\u2019 media team<\/a> after the full-time whistle. \u201cWe would have liked all three. I don\u2019t think Bristol caused us any problems at all, apart from the free-kick at the end and their goal, which could have been stopped.<\/p>\n \u201cSo the first half an hour is really positive. When you\u2019ve lost two games in a row and you go a goal down, it\u2019s always difficult from a confidence point of view, but this group we never give up, they’ll keep going, and it\u2019s a really good thing to have.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI thought first half an hour, I thought we were excellent,” Eustace continued in his post-match press conference. “I think we have to remember that we\u2019re off the back of two defeats, which isn\u2019t easy, and then we you go a goal down, you know it\u2019s always going to be very difficult.<\/p>\n “For the last 15 minutes of the first half, we lost our way a little bit, which is understandable. After a one-two with Jason Knight, the Scotsman fed the ball into the feet of Adam Randell<\/a>, who turned out before passing across the pitch to Mark Sykes.<\/p>\n With plenty of space to dribble into, Sykes took two touches before rolling into the feet of Twine, who had drifted onto the edge of the box unmarked. After setting himself with his first touch, the former Burnley man confidently rolled into the bottom corner before racing away to celebrate with the away supporters.<\/p>\n The move earned praise from Struber, who felt it represented the sort of football he wants his side to play<\/a> in possession.
