This is somewhat surprising, as just last week it sounded that the parent company would also apply for bankruptcy this week.<\/p>\n<p>It is not yet clear whether there is also a future for the company with physical stores. In May, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.eu\/news\/fashion\/shoe-chain-van-lier-closes-all-seven-stores\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">closed all of its seven stores with immediate effect<\/a> and at the time, it sounded that physical stores \u201cwere not future-proof\u201d in the current climate.
