It took <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/news\/scottish-news\/disgraced-cancer-quack-health-guru-35779760\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">place near the Pinkhill Junction.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">An image from the scene shows the van in the side of the car, with the front of the Royal Mail vehicle smashed up. Police can be seen <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/news\/scottish-news\/huge-fire-leaves-locals-stuck-35781001\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">carrying out enquiries.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A Royal Mail spokesperson confirmed they are launching an investigation into how the incident happened, and are helping police with enquiries, reports <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.edinburghlive.co.uk\/news\/edinburgh-news\/edinburgh-royal-mail-van-collides-32336579?utm_medium=Social&amp;utm_source=Facebook&amp;fbclid=IwQ0xDSwMWl-FleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHh7QGhtiAP6ItFDbzUrAgArHeB72HJFeGCkfD46ZiqenJ9ytLolHaO2yjnKE_aem_qxkvyT3KzqCdpx51_p32cA#Echobox=1755946617\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Edinburgh Live.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The condition of those involved is not currently known. Officers blocked off one side of the road as they attended <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyrecord.co.uk\/news\/scottish-news\/gallery\/protesters-clash-outside-scots-asylum-35781338\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">to the incident.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">One local resident shared on X: &#8220;Another accident at the Pinkhill Corstorphine Road junction.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A Royal Mail spokesperson commented: &#8220;We can confirm a Royal Mail van was involved in an incident this morning on Corstorphine Road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;We are pleased to say there were no injuries reported.
