\n\tPrince William<\/a> and Kate Middleton<\/a>\u2018s move from Adelaide Cottage<\/a> to Forest Lodge later this year has been making waves.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe royal couple is hinting that their \u201cforever home\u201d is going to change the look of the monarchy forever \u2014 no Buckingham Palace<\/a>, it\u2019s all about their cozy, eight-bedroom quarters. Still, their relocation does raise some concerns for people who live in the Windsor area.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tNeighbor Jean Reeve spoke with the Daily Mail <\/a>and shared that the property is easier for the public to find than their current home.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But I hope the public allows them to live there quietly as a family,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s a less private spot than their previous home, from what I know about the location. So I\u2019d hate for people to always be going past and saying, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s where they live.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tReeve commented that the Prince and Princess of Wales \u201cdeserve privacy,\u201d and the family\u2019s safety already appears to be a royal concern. On Aug. 18, The Mail on Sunday<\/a> confirmed that two sets of families were \u201casked to leave their homes<\/a>\u201d near Forest Lodge. Their properties were owned and rented out by the Crown Estate, so the request was legal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe U.K. media outlet described the neighbors as \u201csurprised\u201d by the order, but they did comply and have since relocated.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey were told to move out. I guess they were given somewhere else, but they were told they had to move,\u201d an insider shared. \u201cThey were not expecting it. Those houses are very close to the lodge, so they\u2019re not going to want any Tom, Dick, or Harry living in those houses if there are going to be royals there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe major move was reportedly \u201cdriven by Kate<\/a>,\u201d per The Times,<\/a> because she\u2019s \u201centered a new phase of her life, post-cancer treatment,\u201d and a new, authentic Princess of Wales has emerged.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201c\u2026She\u2019s no longer prepared to fake the role of Princess, and this house move is part of a bigger shift towards \u2018normality\u2019 away from the stuffy world her husband\u2019s mother inhabited,\u201d a source said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tKate and William\u2019s new residence is already undergoing renovations, and they will pick up the tab. The couple is ready for a fresh start, but let\u2019s hope their estate will provide them with the safety they require.<\/p>\n
