McGirt then added that while the Mexican would make for an extremely tough challenge for his countryman, Bivol wouldn\u2019t have any chance of defeating \u2018Son of God\u2019.<\/p>\n

The trainer added: \u201cCanelo, I\u2019ve got to honestly say, since the Floyd Mayweather<\/a> fight, he became a different fighter. Him vs Ward would\u2019ve been a serious chess game.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Ward beats Bivol; he beats him easily. Canelo, on the other hand, is different. <\/p>\n

\u201cBivol has a style that gives a lot of guys trouble \u2014 it wouldn\u2019t give Andre Ward trouble. <\/p>\n
