Wrexham faced Sheffield Wednesday at the Racecourse Ground looking for their first win of the Championship campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Phil Parkinson<\/a> handed a full debut to Nathan Broadhead<\/a> as the Welsh international replaced Josh Windass in the starting line up. New signing Callum Doyle<\/a> settled for a place on the bench.<\/p>\n

The Red Dragons took an early lead when a deep free kick caused chaos in the Wednesday defence and Kieffer Moore<\/a> produced an instinctive finish.<\/p>\n

Moore quickly scored his second of the game as some nice build-up from the home side found George Dobson<\/a> in space on the edge of the box and his shot was too hot to handle with Moore following in.<\/p>\n

Wrexham transfer target Barry Bannan<\/a> pulled a goal back for Sheffield Wednesday midway through the second half with a cool finish inside the box.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday continued to dominate the second half and grabbed an equaliser with just under ten minutes to go as Bailey Cadamateri finished off a fine move.<\/p>\n

The Red Dragons get their first point on the board, however, they will feel that it is two points dropped after having the game in the palm of their hand. Here are the winners and losers from the 2-2 draw.<\/p>\n

Kieffer Moore\u2019s signing was met with mixed reviews by some Wrexham<\/a> fans, however, he has shown his importance to the side in the first three games and is now finally off the mark.<\/p>\n

His first goal was a brilliant, instinctive finish as he reacted first to a loose ball inside the opposition penalty area and lashed the ball home on the half volley,<\/p>\n

The second will please Parkinson even more as he once again reacted quicker than the Wednesday defence to pounce on a rebound from Dobson\u2019s shot.<\/p>\n

Moore has led the line brilliantly in the opening exchanges of his Wrexham career and he now has the reward of getting on the scoresheet.<\/p>\n

Dobson was involved in the second goal for Moore as his stinging shot was only parried by Ethan Horvath in the Wednesday goal.<\/p>\n

However, Dobson\u2019s performance was more than just the shot at goal, he was everywhere in midfield and a real driving force for Wrexham.<\/p>\n

Dobson\u2019s full range of passing was on display as he switched play throughout the game and he made some vital defensive interceptions as Wednesday piled on the pressure looking for an equaliser.<\/p>\n

Parkinson may be looking for more midfield acquisitions to his squad, but Dobson has shown that he is deserving of his place in the side.<\/p>\n

Losers from Wrexham\u2019s clash with Sheffield WednesdayOllie Palmer <\/p>\n

When he scored two goals in stoppage time to salvage Wrexham\u2019s Carabao Cup run, Ollie Palmer<\/a> must have thought his career in North Wales had a flicker of hope.<\/p>\n

However, Palmer has not been named in a matchday squad since and his replacement Moore lit up the Racecourse Ground with his display.<\/p>\n

Palmer was watching from the stands<\/a> alongside Jack Marriott and both forwards are edging closer to the exit door before the transfer deadline.<\/p>\n

Nathan Broadhead<\/p>\n

There is a lot of pressure on Broadhead after his \u00a310.5m switch from Ipswich made him the club\u2019s record signing.<\/p>\n

Having had a slightly disrupted pre-season, the midfielder is still finding his feet, however, he failed to deliver the creative spark needed for his side in the absence of Windass.<\/p>\n

Broadhead was denied space throughout the game and failed to link up with Moore whenever he did have the opportunity.<\/p>\n

Ryan Reynolds is a big fan of Broadhead<\/a> and the 27-year-old will want to start repaying the faith shown in him by the Red Dragons soon.<\/p>\n

Parkinson saw his side let slip a game they were in full control of at half time and struggled to stem the tide in the second half.<\/p>\n

The Wrexham boss had made no secret of his desire to keep adding to his squad and in particular the lack of midfield options stood out.<\/p>\n

Despite some excellent performances from the likes of Dobson and Lewis O\u2019Brien<\/a>, Wrexham needed some fresh legs in the middle of the park during the second half.<\/p>\n

However, Parkinson didn\u2019t have the personnel on the bench to fix the problem and in the end saw his side let two points fall from their grasp that really shouldn\u2019t have.<\/p>\n
