A young DJ from Liverpool was moved to tears as he joined Coldplay’s Chris Martin on stage at Wembley Stadium. The band played the first Wembley night of their ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ yesterday, August 22, and were joined on stage during the second act by AJ Murphy, 18, from Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A TikTok video posted by user jennymckimm showed AJ up on stage with the band’s frontman Chris, 48, at England’s national football stadium in London<\/a>. Sitting next to AJ, Chris asked him his name before saying: “Ok AJ, we’ll wave to your new fans in London.”<\/p>\n

Chris noticed AJ had a sign with him. It read “I am autistic. Please pick me”. About that, Chris said: “This is a sign, which is not only incredibly-well coloured in, a competition which I always lost as a kid.<\/p>\n

“It says ‘I am autistic’, with this beautiful jigsaw heart, please with a rainbow S, which I love, ‘pick me’. And then, for one of the only times I’ve seen, there’s LED lights on the top and the bottom.<\/p>\n

“This is a spectacular sign my brother, thank you. Is there anything you’d like us to do for you”<\/p>\n

AJ then requested the song ‘Trouble’. About that, Chris said: “Trouble from our first album. How old are you AJ?” AJ told him he was 18, to which Chris replied: “then this song is 55 years older than you”.<\/p>\n

The song was released as a single from Coldplay’s debut album ‘Parachutes’ in 2000. It reached number 10 on the UK singles chart.<\/p>\n

Chris sat at the piano and played the song with AJ. As he began to play the piano, AJ lifted his hands to his face as he started crying.<\/p>\n

The moment enraptured the capacity crowd. The band will play eight more nights at Wembley after tonight. All are sold out<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ECHO spoke to the family of AJ<\/a>, whose real name is Ashley, earlier this year. For 10 years 18-year-old AJ has loved DJing<\/a>, but due to his autism he was reluctant to showcase his talents to the wider world.<\/p>\n

However, a series of events led AJ from Walton<\/a> to Ibiza in April where his sets delighted music lovers and moved his parents, Ashley senior, 41, and Rachel, 40, to tears of joy.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the ECHO<\/a>, Ashley senior said: \u201cHe’s been into music since he was six years of age. He is very good on the piano too. From the age of six, he had a set of decks but he wouldn\u2019t come out of the house.<\/p>\n

\u201cMusic is a way he can express himself but he just always liked to have his own space.
