Line of Duty star Adrian Dunbar plays the title character, Alex Ridley, a veteran Detective Inspector forced into early retirement on medical grounds after his wife and daughter were murdered in an arson attack on the family home.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   style=\"width: 100%;\"\/>(Image: MATT SQUIRE)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Following his recovery from a mental breakdown, he has rejoined the Copelton District Police Force as a freelance consultant.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  This Sunday\u2019s episode features an illegal rave and filming for it took place in the West Wing of the hall, specifically what was once the kitchen, cellars, pantry and servants\u2019 living quarters.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  READ MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.burytimes.co.uk\/news\/25088989.heaton-hall-heaton-park-inundated-curious-visitors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heaton Hall in Heaton Park inundated with curious visitors<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burytimes.co.uk\/news\/25244480.stars-heaton-park-new-harlen-coben-netflix-drama\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stars in Heaton Park for new Harlen Coben Netflix drama<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burytimes.co.uk\/news\/25396331.itvs-ridley-features-stunning-watergrove-reservoir\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ITV&#8217;s Ridley features stunning Watergrove Reservoir<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  But don\u2019t expect any exquisite d\u00e9cor \u2013 the rooms were burnt back to the bricks in a fire in the 1980s and scorch marks are still visible today.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Val Dawson, secretary of The Friends of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burytimes.co.uk\/news\/25088989.heaton-hall-heaton-park-inundated-curious-visitors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heaton Hal<\/a>l said: \u201cWe\u2019re all looking forward to watching the episode. Last week they used some shots of the park, but we\u2019ll be able to see how they used the interior on Sunday.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   style=\"width: 100%;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\n  Heaton Hall has appeared in many films and television dramas over the decades, going back to Granada Television\u2019s landmark adaptation of Brideshead Revisited in 1981.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Val said: \u201cI think one of the main reasons why Heaton Hall is such a busy filming location is because it\u2019s largely empty.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cFilm and television makers don\u2019t have to spend time removing what\u2019s already in there before setting up their own sets.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   style=\"width: 100%;\"\/>(Image: MATT SQUIRE)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Earlier this year, crews were in Heaton Park\u00a0for the next dramatisation of\u00a0 a Harlan Corben novel.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Filming is currently underway for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burytimes.co.uk\/news\/25244480.stars-heaton-park-new-harlen-coben-netflix-drama\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Run Away<\/a>.
