Man United play Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday and here are five things to look out for in the game.\"Steven<\/p>\n

Manchester United are hoping to get off the mark in the Premier League this weekend.<\/p>\n

United suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in their opening game of the new league campaign<\/a> at Old Trafford and they are looking to bounce back against Fulham at Craven Cottage.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim<\/a> made a handful of contentious selection decisions against Arsenal and it will be fascinating to see his starting team. Benjamin Sesko was named on the bench against Arsenal and could make his full debut.<\/p>\n

Fulham drew 1-1 with Brighton last weekend after a last-gasp equaliser in added time.<\/p>\n

Here are the five things to look out for at Craven Cottage…<\/p>\n

Full debut for Sesko?<\/p>\n

Benjamin Sesko should be in line to make his full debut against Fulham. The Slovenian international was introduced from the bench in the second half against Arsenal, which made it difficult for him to impose himself.<\/p>\n

It was impossible to gauge anything from Sesko’s cameo and fans will be desperate to see him from the start. The front line was fluid and slick in the first half last weekend, but it’s a no-brainer to start Sesko.<\/p>\n

United’s biggest weakness was their inability to score goals last season. The Reds notched just 44 goals in the Premier League and Sesko has been signed in a \u00a373.7million deal to fix that.<\/p>\n

It would be strange to start Sesko on the bench again. Amorim may feel Mason Mount combined well with his teammates against Arsenal, but United did not score and they need a striker on the pitch.<\/p>\n

Hojlund in the squad?<\/p>\n

Rasmus Hojlund might be left at home again. Hojlund was dropped from the squad for the opening game of the season and he watched the contest from the directors’ box at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Journalists will be waiting for the United team bus to arrive to confirm whether Hojlund has travelled before the team news is announced. It seems likely he could be omitted from the squad again.<\/p>\n

It feels harsh to drop Hojlund from the squad altogether – he has not worked his ticket – but Amorim seems to have marked his card and decided he needs to leave before the transfer deadline.<\/p>\n

United can make history<\/p>\n

The unwanted statistics have stacked up across the last two seasons, but United could create some positive club history when they take on Fulham because their record at Craven Cottage is impressive.<\/p>\n

Since drawing 2-2 with Fulham away from home in August 2010, United have won every visit to Craven Cottage in the Premier League, racking up a sequence of eight wins in London.<\/p>\n

Another win at Craven Cottage would set a new club record of successive wins at a venue.<\/p>\n

Martinez scored the winner at Fulham last season.Good omen for Cunha<\/p>\n

Craven Cottage should also be a happy hunting ground for United forward Matheus Cunha, who had a strong record against the London club during his two-and-a-half years with Wolves.<\/p>\n

Cunha has recorded four goal involvements in the last three Premier League games against Fulham, which includes two goals and assist in a comfortable 4-1 win for Wolves at Craven Cottage last season.<\/p>\n

That defeat represented Fulham’s heaviest defeat of the 2024\/2025 campaign. Marco Silva will be aware of the threat Cunha will pose, but will his players be able to stop the Brazilian?<\/p>\n

Ineos’ headquarters are based in Knightsbridge, London, which is just a 20-minute drive away from Craven Cottage. That explains why Sir Jim Ratcliffe attended last season’s game away at Fulham and why he might show his face again.<\/p>\n

Ratcliffe was approached by angry supporters after United’s 1-0 win against Fulham in January. Lisandro Martinez scored a late match-winner, but fans conveyed their anger about the rise of ticket prices.<\/p>\n

The British billionaire was confronted as he sat in his car outside the stadium. Ratcliffe wound his car window down before he appeared to say: “Get your photograph.”<\/p>\n

“66 quid, you’re taking the p***. You’re worse than the Glazers, sort it out,” a fan replied.<\/p>\n

Another fan said during the heated exchange: “66 f****** quid, mate. What are you doing mate? We’re northerners, come on, mate. Our prices should be a third of Fulham’s.”<\/p>\n

United fans are still annoyed about ticket prices, but Amorim has been backed in the summer transfer window and it’s unlikely Ratcliffe would face similar hostility this weekend.<\/p>\n
