Millwall boss Alex Neil felt his side were fortunate to come away from Sheffield United with a 1-0 Sky Bet Championship victory.<\/p>\n

Luke Cundle\u2019s first-half strike put them ahead but the Blades were much sharper after the break and were perhaps unfortunate not to get anything out of the game.<\/p>\n

Louie Barry and Gustavo Hamer brought impressive saves from Steven Benda in the second period but United have now lost all four of their fixtures in this fledgling campaign.<\/p>\n

For the Lions, they bounced back from last week\u2019s 3-0 home defeat to Middlesbrough and lie in eighth spot three games into the league season.<\/p>\n

Neil said: \u201cSheffield United are a good side, aren\u2019t they? I know it\u2019s been a difficult start for them but what they\u2019ve got, they\u2019re a good team.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost of these players last year finished the season really strongly, finished with 92 points, something ridiculous like that.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe needed our goalkeeper to make I think two great saves, one from Hamer, one from Barry down to his other corner.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut certainly for us you could see how light we are today in terms of personnel. We were stretched to the max.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was going to be a spell where it was going to be backs against the wall, defend your box, do the basics, and, yeah, relying on your goalkeeper at times. And that\u2019s how it panned out.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re just delighted we got the win. I think when this team, when this club\u2019s got adversity against us, it\u2019s probably when we\u2019re at our best. I thought today was a typical Millwall performance where everything\u2019s against us and we managed to dig one out.\u201d<\/p>\n

United manager Ruben Selles has urged his team to keep battling and become more consistent in carrying the game to the opposition.<\/p>\n

He felt they lost their way a bit after starting strongly but wants more than just a few \u201cmoments\u201d in a game.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cThe first 10 minutes, we were on top of the game, trying to create, trying to generate, being aggressive.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we lost a little bit of organisation and started to lose duels in the middle of the pitch, allowing perhaps too much in the first half. And then we conceded a goal after a corner.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we can recognise the team that we were in the second half, going for the game, playing, attacking, creating situations to score.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd yeah, we are in the situation right now where all those situations are not going in our favour so we will need to keep fighting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think if we talk about transfer window, change, new project, all those things, we will be making excuses. I think what we are missing is to make a robust performance for 90-95 minutes.<\/p>\n
