John Sugden<\/a>\u2019s (Oliver Farnworth<\/a>) big secret is finally set to be revealed in Emmerdale<\/a> next week after plenty of speculation from fans.<\/p>\n

John hit our screens last summer as the brother of Victoria Sugden<\/a> (Isabel Hodgins<\/a>), and it soon became clear that there were things he was hiding.<\/p>\n

In upcoming scenes, viewers will finally find out exactly what kind of secrets and lies John has been keeping from his family through a series of flashbacks.<\/p>\n

Recent scenes have seen John get engaged to boyfriend Aaron Dingle<\/a> (Danny Miller).<\/p>\n

As fans find out more about John and the things he\u2019s been hiding, they\u2019ll be left wondering if Aaron will finally get to really know the person he\u2019s set to be spending the rest of his life with.<\/p>\n

\u2018Since enigmatic and inscrutable John Sugden arrived on our screens last summer, he\u2019s managed to hide some pretty big secrets from his family and friends,\u2019 producer Laura Shaw revealed. <\/p>\n

\u2018As his clandestine acts are revealed, the audience has an opportunity to really get inside John\u2019s mind and to finally understand exactly what this mysterious character is really about.\u2019<\/p>\n

Fans have been suspicious of John for quite a while now, with Chas Dingle\u2019s (Lucy Pargeter) recent spiking causing lots of speculation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Viewers took to social media to share their theories that John had been behind the spiking, with some suggesting he wanted to play the hero and be seen to \u2018save\u2019 Chas, while others thought he may just want her out of the way.<\/p>\n

We know that he was heavily involved in the cover up of Anthony Fox\u2019s murder<\/a>, having hidden the body.<\/p>\n

What else could he be capable? What secrets are set to be unearthed?<\/p>\n
