Scottish Bar and Pub Awards<\/a>, at a black-tie Oscar-themed ceremony at Glasgow\u2019s Hilton Double tree hotel on Tuesday night.<\/p>\nToday we reveal our four finalists after a nationwide search for the best bar none.<\/p>\n
Four Marys, in Linlithgow, Glasgow\u2019s MacSorley\u2019s, The Anglers from Annan and \u00adEdinburgh\u2019s Athletic Arms are hoping to secure the top spot.<\/p>\n
Susan Young, editor of hospitality industry bible DRAM, says the judges have really had their work cut out for them this year.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cIt\u2019s been such a tough competition because all these venues are top notch.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo matter who wins they are all fantastic venues for an afternoon or night out with friends and family.\u201d<\/p>\n
Four Marys in Linlithgow is known for its warm welcome and great food. The team will always make a real effort to get to know you.<\/p>\n
Anyone who has been to \u00adMacSorleys in Glasgow knows it is famed for its music, food, and drinks selection. You are welcomed with open arms to a family-owned and run pub and you leave feeling like part of the family.<\/p>\n
