{"id":369659,"date":"2025-08-24T11:55:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-24T11:55:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/369659\/"},"modified":"2025-08-24T11:55:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-24T11:55:09","slug":"norway-germany-to-jointly-fund-patriot-air-defence-systems-for-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/369659\/","title":{"rendered":"Norway, Germany to jointly fund Patriot air defence systems for Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>24 August 2025 14:52<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"151\" data-end=\"355\"><strong>Norway and Germany will jointly finance the purchase of two Patriot air defence systems and accompanying ammunition for Ukraine, according to a statement published on the Norwegian government\u2019s <a style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219);\" href=\"https:\/\/www.regjeringen.no\/en\/aktuelt\/norway-provides-air-defense-worth-seven-billion-kroner-to-ukraine\/id3116609\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"357\" data-end=\"511\">The document noted that Berlin and Oslo continue close cooperation on military support for Kyiv, including the supply of \u201cpowerful air defence systems,\u201d <strong><a style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219);\" href=\"https:\/\/caliber.az\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Caliber.Az<\/a><\/strong> reports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"513\" data-end=\"671\">Norway plans to allocate around 7 billion kroner (over $695 million) for the procurement of air defence assets.
