Jake Paul was left with his jaw wide open following a Knockout of the Year contender on a Most Valuable Promotions show on Friday night.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The YouTuber-turned-boxer hosted an MVP Fight Night in Orlando, Florida, stretching over two days, which got off to an explosive start.<\/p>\n

In the curtain jerker, undefeated Brazilian Pedro Da Silva Conceicao (5-0) flattened Cuba’s Renny Viamonte Mastrapa (4-3-1) with a dynamite right hand that rang around the Caribe Royale Resort.<\/p>\n

The vicious shot sent Mastrapa hurtling to the canvas face-first, where he lay motionless for several minutes while medics tended to him.<\/p>\n

Paul watched the brutal stoppage unfold from ringside, and his gob-smacked reaction was caught on camera.<\/a><\/p>\n

As the camera panned to Paul, the ex-Disney star leapt to his feet with a stunned expression painted across his face.<\/p>\n

He later took to social media to post a video of the knockout with the caption: “KO of the year?”<\/p>\n

On the Saturday show, Paul’s prot\u00e9g\u00e9, Lucas Bahdi, outpointed Roger Gutierrez in a WBA lightweight final eliminator.<\/p>\n

In doing so, the Canadian puts himself in line to fight for the black and gold strap, currently held by Paul’s next opponent, Gervonta Davis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The WBA are set to review Davis’ status as their 135lbs champion<\/a> after he chose to fight Paul instead of Lamont Roach, whom the major sanctioning body had ordered him to rematch.<\/p>\n

Davis was held to a contentious majority draw in March after Roach was wrongfully denied a knockdown in the ninth round, which would have won him the fight.<\/p>\n

But after pushing back the proposed date with Roach multiple times, Davis chose to lock horns with Paul in an exhibition bout on November 14 instead.<\/a><\/p>\n

Due to the massive weight difference between the pair, the bout could not be sanctioned as a professional contest.<\/p>\n

Paul is a natural cruiserweight (200lbs), who weighed 227lbs for his heavyweight showdown with Mike Tyson<\/a> last November.<\/p>\n

Davis, on the other hand, has never boxed above super lightweight (140lbs) and spent the majority of his career at super featherweight (130lbs).<\/p>\n

The rules and weight are yet to be officially confirmed, although Paul suggested earlier this year that he would have to come in no heavier than 195lbs.<\/a><\/p>\n
